As usual, I?m ridiculously long between posts here? I think that?s probably just how it?s going to be, folks? also as usual, in between working with all of my great clients, I?ve been hard at work designing a couple of new features for the site? things like GoogleMaps for cities/areas that outline the tracts and a new, refined search system. Anyway, I didn?t want to start a post about the past? I was thinking more about the future? But, with any story, context is everything...

You all know this by now, but I can happily say the site is back up and in ship-shape condition. The listings are available and you can search by tract again. The corrupt server hard drives were pulled out of the server, shipped off, pulled apart and had their data extracted which isn't an easy or inexpensive matter. Hats off to my service provider, IDX Network, for pulling it off in a reasonable timeframe.

Update on Server Crash

Hello, all. I been receiving calls and emails daily from people who use the site regularly who have been unable to access the listing data. As most of you know by now, we had a server meltdown this past Sunday early in the morning. I spoke with my IDX provider this morning (IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange) and she informed me that a couple of our server's hard drives were really damaged and the portion of my site that displays listings was on one of them.
